He did this Domino pinup for me and just nailed it. I was so concerned that it would be 'cheesecaked to the nines' even though I asked for him to base it on his depiction of her in his Deathlock run, which was semi realistic. Turns out I had no reason for concern, since Mike delivered the perfect balance of fun, foxy, and real. With issue #14 Ghita was featured on the cover, but the cover was created by Sanjulian who did many of the Warren covers for Vampirella, Creepy and Eerie. Frank did a pencil prelim of the wraparound cover but was never used. I purchased the prelim from Frank a couple years ago. He has retired and is not drawing or doing commissions. So I approached David Roach who is a big Thorne fan and he inked the prelim on a separate piece of bristol. He also decided to enlarge from 11x17 (pencil prelim) to 17x22. His art rep reached out to me trying to find out if I was one of the guys he owed art to . Dozens and dozens of people got scammed so no offence I can really give the piece proper props . Dude- i do not understand why you were so surprised.. I personally warned you about him when you backed out of our deal for my Submariner piece by him that you approached me to buy. I told you he was not reliable and I was local so that was the only reason I got art from him. You have this vendetta against not only him but people who buy his art, when you were warned and went forward anyway to try to save a couple bucks, I HAVE NOT BEEN BURNED- and his rep is trying to make good on all he screwed up in his past.
