looks like a solid NM- 9.2 to me.

Looks clean (greys are hard to find defects on) and flat. From your scan, I'd say a 9.2.

8.5 to 9.0 depending on the back cover. I had a hulk that had that brownish edge that CGC knocked me down on big time.

DD # 24 looks like a solid CGC NM 9.4 even with dust shadow to rh edge of book. DD # 13 would have achieved the same grade without lower rh cnr crease, therefore CGC 9.0 VF/NM in this case.

In that case I'll go with 9.2...

I'll grade it a solid D as in dark, the scans are waaaaaay to dark for me to even guess. Somebody's scanner is as blind as the DareDevil himself!

Look at all the pretty artifacts especially noticable around what looks like lightening bolts. Anybody ever use a "noise" or "median" filter? What quality "level" are you saving images at?

 

I use Adobe Photoshop Elements, and it works great!

8.5 .. is that a recessed top staple? is that slight overhang on the top going to the middle?
