Richard Rae & The curious case of the Mike Royer light-boxed artworks . . .

694 posts in this topic

Easy to say that Tony...you're not the 3rd party are you...

You should probably worry about the 1st and 2nd parties you've hoodwinked before defending an artist who no one has ever wronged except for you when you sold their artwork with a mis-attribution in order to profit unjustly.

No one's buying your "Defender of the Innocent" persona you are attempting to take on now that all the others have failed. If I were Mike Royer I would be royally pissed at you for misidentifying his work and thereby dragging his name into it.

you said..."Well it's took you quite a few days to come up with this nonsense."...sorry mate but it's..."Well it has taken you..."...let us all attempt to try and use the right English so the story can be told honestly and not mis-read.

...and what are you doing about removing Mike Royer's name from the title of this chat-room...or don't you care?...well Terry.

That's rich coming from you. lol

What part of Peter Palmer's post (which repeats information already communicated to you) that says:

" . . . it's the original post that dictates what thread title is seen from the thread listings and after a certain amount of time has elapsed, that cannot be edited by the original poster"

. . . is it you don't understand?

Even if I could change the title of this thread, I wouldn't.

I have the greatest of respect for Mike Royer (which, unfortunately, can't be said of you), but it's important that Richard Rae and Royer Lightboxed artworks go hand-in-hand.

Collectors need to be reminded that whenever they see a Mike Royer inked illustration , that is signed 'Kirby/Royer', they need to authenticate the accuracy of that attribution - bearing in mind a con-man named Richard Rae has been introducing forgeries into the market.

yeah ! the dead parrot sketch is even more appropriate !!! ;)

lol

That's true:

Collector: "That's not a Kirby/Royer sketch...that's a Royer!"

Rae: "Just look at the beautiful plumage!! It was created in 1998."

Collector: "But Kirby was dead in 1998."

Rae: "No he wasn't. He's just resting."

You've never heard of a "posthumous creation"?

And you lot call yourself knowledgeable about art?

if this thread was Lassie, it would be time to shed a tear, pick up the shotgun and a shovel, and head out to the backyard

That's Old Yeller.

Lassie would have swum to Australia, bitten Rae in the arse, recovered Joan's painting and some cash to repay everyone else, and still have had time to bark her head off about little Timmy being in the well. :cloud9:
