Mint Condition Comics in Port Washington NY.

A friend wants to buy a fairly high dollar raw book from them and asked me about the guys reputation. I've never dealt with him but believe he's been discussed here, but I don't recall the specifics.

It probably was me that mentioned Mint Condition Comics. I didn't purchase an high priced books and don't recall any prices on his wall books but he did have a nice selection. I remember he had a nice Lois Lane 1. I don't know how much I can be of help other than I talked with the guy for about a half an hour or more. I would go back but it is really a hike for me.

No, thats not the discussion I remember, but thanks anyway. The one I'm thinking of is several years older.

Mint Condition happens to be my LCS + I've known Joe, the owner, for a long time.

His grading is pretty accurate. Which book was your friend interested in?

Joe is a very nice guy, but he has a no return policy regarding raw books. Even if you send it to CGC and it comes back restored.

I am sure you're friend was checking out the JIM's.

That's what he is dubious about. That would be a deal breaker for me.

I was about to pull the trigger on a deal, but I quickly changed my mind when I found out about his return policy.
