WANTED: comic art, long list! Dealers or private sellers have a look!

Good morning all!

 

My budget has opened up a small amount so I find myself casting about

for some new artwork. In addition to hitting the dealer sites and

eBay, I thought I'd send out a mass request to the list to see if

anyone can fill some of the holes in my collection.

 

I should note that I'm still on a limited budget and not looking for

covers or expensive splash pages (though if you have such, I'm always

interested in seeing them) and I'd rather get several lower end

representative pages rather than blow my load (as it were) on a single

page.

 

This will be a long list, so apologies for that. On to the list! My

MARVEL SUPER HEROES SECRET WARS (first series) - any page - this is a

long shot due to budget issues but it's my personal grail. I know

Heritage has two pages coming up in their auction that I'll be

watching closely, but if anyone has another, that is the epitomy of my

collecting dreams.

 

And now to the easier stuff. I'm looking for pages from:

 

DOOM PATROL - Grant Morrison run - Richard Case or one of the fill-in artists.

 

THE INVISIBLES - see Doom Patrol. Any of the artists.

 

HELLBLAZER - ideally something from Steve Dillon, though I'd be open

to anything with Constantine appearing on the page.

 

SWAMP THING - any of the volumes or artists.

 

LUCIFER - the Vertigo series. Peter Gross, Colleen Doran, or any of

the fill-in artists would be fine.

 

SHADE THE CHANGING MAN - Vertigo series. The Bachalo pages go a bit

high for me but I'm open to suggestion. Any of the other artists would

be fine as well

 

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY / Marvel Cosmic stuff - I've recently gotten

into this. Brad Walker or Paul Pelletier, or whatever pages you have

around. Especially interested in pages featuring Mantis from the first

six issues

 

GI JOE COBRA - I'd been in contact for about six months with Antonio

Fuso but he has an artist's sense of business acumen and urgency, so

I've given up on getting the pages directly from him.

 

GI JOE (1980s) - Herb Trimpe or one of the other artists. Regular

series or Special Missions are fine.

 

SEVEN SOLDIERS FRANKENSTEIN - Doug Mahnke - anything from the four

issues, but especially issue two

 

NEW GODS/FOURTH WORLD stuff featuring the Female Furies. There's a lot

out there of varying quality, but I do like the Furies

 

ULTIMATE FANTASTIC FOUR - Jae Lee run

 

BPRD / HELLBOY universe stuff - Guy Davis or otherwise

 

 

and art from the following artists:

 

 

HOWARD CHAYKIN - American Flagg or Hawkgirl stuff primarily, but open

to any of his more modern work. Less so the older stuff he did from

the 70s or early 80s

 

BILL SIENKIEWICZ - unlikely probably, but I'll throw it out there.

Again, more of his stylistic pages rather than the Neal Adams style he

began with

 

GABRIEL BA / FABIO MOON - I haven't seen any of their stuff for sale,

do they have an agent?

 

BEN TEMPLESMITH - stuff from Wormwood Gentleman Corpse, or his GI Joe one-shot

 

FRANK QUITELY - another unlikely, but I'll cheerfully look at what you've got!

 

JAE LEE - whatever you've got, always interesting
