This copy sold in the CLink auction last night for $651.

Gorgeous example of a book that is extremely hard to find with good centering.

This is one of the nicest copies I've seen. Congrats to whomever picked it up!

One of the best BA Horror covers out there, if not the best. I believe the last 9.4 White sold for ~$1,000 so this was a good pickup for someone. I was watching a couple of the other HoS books and surprised at how much the 85 9.4 ($610) and 86 9.4 ($500) sold for. The early Adams/Wrightson HoM/HoS issues have picked up steam lately (HoM 174 - 190 and HoS 81 - 90) after years of dormancy.

Those tiny monster heads remind me of Madballs!

I believe I have 10 more Wrightson horror covers to get, so am not sure what I will want to go for after that. Maybe Neal Adams ones?

I guess it’s also possible I’ll be done with getting stuff in the genre

I am not certain I like that one guys art style much. I will probably need to look at it more, as I don't know who he really is. Though to be fair, I didn't know who Wrightson was until sometime in March.

Luis Dominguez illustrated hundreds of covers and stories for DC, Charlton and Warren during the Bronze Age. You’ll find a ton of his work in DC’s Ghosts, HOM, HOS, Phantom Stranger, Witching Hour, unexpected and others. So lots to choose from...
