Color Touch 201: Marvel Team-up #1

A little tougher...tight book, looks NM in the bag from more than a foot away. Multiple (more than 5) spine stresses over 1/16", none "break" the color. Seeing the book in person reveals an ever so slight texture/laying over the spine stresses where the color touch was done. Look at the tips of the spine - as they got worn down the actual fibers in the paper break loose, so when the semi-restorers color in the tips of the spine you can see the "fuzzy" fibers with black ink. You can sort of see this effect at the bottom of the spine in this scan. This one's still pretty obvious on close examination, but if you have a 9.4/9.6 to start with (maybe 2 1/16" spine stresses in the middle of the spine, not near the staples) and it gets a couple hits...tough to detect!
