PGM Patsy Walker 119 Hard to Call

12 posts in this topic

This is a hard one for me to call. The book looks good from the front but closer inspection reveals some defects that I am having some trouble factoring into the grade. Some help would be apreciated. Thanks.

A closer look at the chip missing at top.

Some tanning inside covers. It actually looks darker in person.

Some corners missing. Might be production related.

A bit more of tanning and impact corner that goes through book.

Tough one. I thought higher than 1Cool's grade before seeing it. I was thinking it would still make 6.0 because it is a clean book other than the small defects.

I don't know what they would make of it because of the inside page corners. Gut tells me it is not a production defect, but I don't really know.

I will say 5.5 - 6.0.

Thanks, guys, for the assessment.

It was sold to me as a VF (8.0) over the Internet.

I thought that without the weaknesses at the top and bottom spine and the tanning that it might be a reasonable 7.0.

Thanks again for the keen eyes -- I wanted to confirm that I wasn't being in any way unfair to the vendor in sending the book back.
