Your Top 10 Bronze Age Covers

It kills me every time I see this book. I'm still bummed I missed it when you sold it.

It's by far the the nicest copy I've ever seen of that book.

Thx Barton, but I'm still bummed I no longer own it.

Was probably my all-time best purchase from my LCS, which priced it at NM Overstreet. Also, among the many outstanding Kane picture frame covers, it's my favorite.

Weird War Tales Vol 1 #89, July, 1980, Cover Artist - Jim Starlin

At the time this appeared on my local spinner rack I vetoed it's purchase without thinking. I've come to appreciate "Nazi Gorillas" since then. Good for a laugh, I guess. Not usually, if ever, in anyone's top anything. (Top Gorilla Covers?)

[sorry. Just monkeying around, here. Carry on.]

Some of those Marvel/Curtis mags had great covers. Unknown Worlds of Science Fiction 2 and Savage Tales 2 spring to mind.

Also, some of the Atlas/Seaboard covers were great too.

Totally agree with you, you could do a top 10 Marvel magazine one by themselves. hm
