Pedigree books should be awarded just as many points as Signature Series books?

4 posts in this topic

Dear Gemma/CGC

Just a thought, could you (=CGC) consider giving pedigree books similar points as signature series books? Primarily, pedigree books generally sell for more than non-pedigree books and thus have a higher value (and pedigree books are more scarce), and secondary, pedigree books have a special history to tell being preserved and cared for by typically a very special person, who for many years went through great troubled in order to protect and gently handle a very large number of books. Thus honoring such special persons by increasing the point given to owners of pedigree books seems justified (and seems like a nice and appropriate gesture).

Sincerely,

Rune

PS. Sorry for the inconvenience, if this question has been asked before.

Could you consider adding an icon, where the Icons for added images and descriptions are? That way you could see which books in someones collection were pedigreed at a glance.

Might be nice to give pedigree books their own label color like the signature series books get. :) I think they are deserving of that distinction. Sound reasonable?
