This is Marvel super special 7. It was never published in the US. This one was published in France. This book is Holy Grail rare status. Mine is the first one I have ever seen in 22 years of collecting rare comics.

Not sure, but reprints are cheap on eBay. Thinking of getting my sister one for her birthday.

Not sure, but reprints are cheap on eBay. Thinking of getting my sister one for her birthday.

 

I know there was at least 3 printings (I think the 1st print had "One Dollar" cover price, the 2nd print added "Premiere Issue" in the corner), and I believe the cover price and if it had "Collector's Edition" ($1.50 cover price and I believe the 3rd print) on it was a way to tell.

High Times had at least three printings of the first issue that I know of. Here are good examples (from eBay!) of the first three.

 

This is the first printing - weird metallic ink so scanning is hosed. Does not have the "Premiere Issue" band at the left corner, has the price as "one dollar". The logo has a space between the two words and is in a different font than subsequent printings.

 

This is the "second" first printing (I know, I know). Has the price as "one dollar", has the "Premiere Issue" band and is in green. The logo has no space between the words.

 

This is the second printing. Price is "$1.50" and the band says "Premiere Issue Collector's Edition."

 

The first printing is really hard to find, especially in grade. The one for $325 is a little pricey, but reasonable.
