I’ve owned it 6 years, the only thing different is it’s been removed from its plastic.

May I ask what grade it was assigned? It looks really nice!

Do you ever pick up issues of Fox and the Crow or any of DC's other Funny Animal comics?

???

I can't speak for others, I normally only pick up DC funny animal books if a) they're really cheap, like 2-5 dollars at most, or b) if they have Sheldon Mayer stories.  Fox & the Crow rarely meet those requirements, so I don't have many, although I do have appearances of them in other books, like Comic Cavalcade, which has Mayer stories in many issues.

Wow! I see Sheldon Mayer started working for DC in 1935! He did Scribbly, Popsicle Pete, Littul Snoony, Dizzy Dog, Doodles Duck, Bo Bunny, Li'l Chic-a-Dee and Three Mouseketeers stories among others in All-American Comics, Comic Cavalcade, Funny Stuff, Scribbly, Leave It to Binky, Leading Screen Comics, Hollywood Funny Folks, Movietown's Animal Antics, Peter Porkchops, Dodo and the Frog, Raccoon Kids, Nutsy Squirrel and Three Mouseketeers before Sugar and Spike 1 in early 1956.  And he continued to do Dizzy Dog, Doodles Duck, Bo Bunny and Three Mouseketeers stories well into 1957!

Yeah, he was really awesome. I'd love to buy fine or better copies of Three Mouseketeers, but they just aren't out there.

What's particularly impressive is that Sheldon Mayer was both the writer and artist for almost his output between the spring of 1956 and the end of 1971.

Here's a self portrait he did for the Amazing World of DC Comics fanzine:
