Plenty of room here. Feel free to air grievances, however misanthropic.

I want to talk rock n roll with you and ask your thought about vinyl and rock,as you seem quite knowledgable about the field.

So what vinyl record was more important of these two ?

I hope I didn`t put you on the spot,as they are both top choices.

This was much more important.

No problem, it's where I'd like the thread to go.

I grew up listening to both albums. I prefer Led Zeppelin, partly due to Floyd being unavoidable in the mid to late 1970s. They were on everyone's turntable at that time.

I got back into Zep around the time the DVD came out, after not playing them for a long while. They are now my favourite band. Both albums sound better on vinyl with a proper analogue system, for what it's worth.

In many respects, it was more important. For me, it was the Damned's first album that was my introduction to punk and the first time I'd heard such music. It was a revelation, and I still play that album.

I'm not a big fan of Led Zep and I prefer the Syd version of the Floyd. Nevertheless, regardless of the quality of the two albums above I would argue that neither is musically important.

at least it's getting late in England so goldie will be sleeping soon.

Such a party poop. Honestly, no brandy and cigars for you.

Or Port or Calvados... so bummed that Wondercon 2012 is in Anaheim. :(

Me too, dammit. Left me in a slight quandary - I'm thinking of going to Emerald City Con (which is at a similar time) and then flying down to SF for a couple of days....

And port is always a worthy finish....

Do so since you're so cheap that you won't travel to SD anymore.

We'll have to agree to disagree - I forgot about your aversion to "sweat rock".

Sweat rock & sweat rockers are the finest contributions to my beer drinking vocabulary these Boards have gifted to me.

Comicopolis helped me get the boys to laugh last time we were drinking (worship)
