These books feature a very similar insect.

Hey, wow, cool! Very similar indeed!

And here the same kid returns after more than 21 years!

Just saw the Kid Colt #60 cover on eBay for the first time. These two are dead ringers.

That TGK 49 is one of the best Severin comics ever made. It contains 4 (!!!) Severin stories if I'm not mistaken. When I sold off my Atlas collection awhile back, that was the one and only book that I sent out of my way to buy back because I had such a bad case of seller's remorse with it. I don't have anywhere NEAR the amount of Atlas westerns I had before, but that was one that was a keeper every day of the week.

Looks like they updated Kid Colt's clothes. Was a new artist introduced for Issue 60 vs 49?

Two-Gun Kid #51 (Dec 1948) v Western Kid #17 (August, 1957)

Just add a dog and no one will notice :kidaround:

Especially not after nearly nine years! Congratulations to you for catching their dastardly trick.

Kid Colt Outlaw and Two-Gun Kid were two different characters though and those are two different titles.

TGK #51 is the Dec 1959 issue, 2 years after the Western Kid cover, so the dog was dropped not added.
