Oh man! I always love those pre-hero Marvels! The critters pictured on the covers are always so much more interesting than Captain America.

 

The two comics with which you started this thread deserve another look:

My copy of Rip Hunter #7 resembles Detective Comics 255.

But why is raven haired Batwoman Kathy Kane referring to Robin II as our son while the two of them are watching the new Dynamic Duo on a flat screen HDTV ?

 

 

Is she actually his stepmother? Was Batman high sticking Vicki Vale on the side and they adopted the fruit of his loins?

 

 

Or was Batwoman dallying with the long limbed Elongated Man instead?
