Thats a smart motivated owner. Nothing wrong with that. Glad they are not in my area lol.

They all have the same type of traits: unkempt, been in the game 25+ years, owned a shop in the 90s, talk siht loudly in front of customers about how they don't like speculators trend and optioned books lol.

Descender heating up with news of show in development

that one has long been a "sleeper hit" ... Animosity up next? 4 Kids Walk into a Bank? too bad I sold my Descender run a while back

The article I read said a Canadian TV Network bought the rights to it. Didnt think it was in development yet.

Either way, its a good series and would work well for TV.

Hmmm... article says both "being adapted" and "picked up rights" which, as I understand it, are 2 separate things.... but both could happen simultaneously, perhaps? I remember that it was optioned a few years ago (article mentions this) so option must have expired and it was purchased by the Canadian company.

Invincible was first picked up for a live action movie then Amazon later this year is debuting an animated series.... so yes 2 separate things are possible simultaneously.. it's happened before

Good point

Super excited about that show, Invincible was such a great read.  Surprised to see no one mention (as far as I saw) Invincible books that have sold fairly well on eBay.

I wonder why... of all ages.. why not get BA Avengers 196..... I'd rather spend $50-100 on a solid SA or BA key than recent fodder

There seems to be people still saying that the Taskmaster showing up in Black Widow is female.

That is where the female taskmaster spec train started. There also appear to be two distinct costumes of the Task Master character in the Black widow trailer.

I have a few Descender #1 BAM variants from when they were a dollar, and at least one A cover. Need to see if I can dig those out.

But yeah, I’m ready for something to be announced for Animosity.

it would be cool ti have two versions of a villain in that movie.. like multiple widows.. multiple taskmasters.

It was originally optioned by Sony. They may have had something that could have been transferred to the new company. Maybe not.

Either way, it was optioned before by a lot bigger company and didn't go anywhere.

Right, but no word has really come out since then and the book has settled back to the 10-20 dollar range, in the last year or so. I think concrete production or casting news could set this thing alight.

Also... these books that took off for upcoming movies like Black Widow marvel knights 1 and Inhumans 5 (both of which have cooled way down), only to have the release of them delayed. Do they have a second wave of hype when the trailers relaunch for a later release?Since they’re more or less forgotten by now and can be bought for much less than 6 months ago.
