huh. Bummer. It def. hasn't been the same. Joe linsner just ordered a "warlock 5" trade paperback from me yesterday for a whopping $3.50. That's hot on ebay IMO.

It was a joke anyway and i honestly enjoy him as much as anyone on the the boards that i don't know personally. PLUS he's the best reason to listen to the "only the valiant".

Action Comics #1 I can't get rid of. The hype on that has died down.I just recently read All Star Western, Justice League Dark & I, Vampire so will see if they fare any better.

 

Chew comics still continue to sell, I sold the recent Flambe storyline for above cover price.

It was a no-brainer that the 52s would have short term hype value. That`s why I stock up on Chew and Walking Dead for I see at least a 5 year cycle.

Well tried to find copies of issue #1 of The Vault at all my local shops but no luck.

 

So are any of the DC 52 #1s really going for more than retail? I see Animal Man seems to be one of the tougher ones to get.

A couple are above cover by a few $$, but your right nothing monster there at all. Now they are all selling, but not for anything but a little above cover. Issue 1 did have a nice $8.50 sale other day.

 

Amazon sales mean nothing to me because they are usually way overpriced.

Amazon reflects PERFECTLY for dual collectables. THAT'S where the general public buys. NOT the savvy collector.

Good find on the second one I missed that one. I did mention the first one. So yes there is some buys you could be correct in predicting a pattern. We just need more sales to prove the pattern. But didnt you predict this one a while back?

 

I dont honestly think the general public buys comics from Amazon much (I can be wrong on this), but you are right they buy everything else there. Lets see some more ebay sales like yours above and we got a pattern. Right now we might have a start or just a blip from suckers. Good post though.

Larry himself is selling copies of #1 for $6.87 on Amazon - I'm still not really seeing how this book is turning into a monster :shrug:

I heard from another comic forum that these Larry's Wonderful Wackyful Tackyful variants are worth their weight in toilet paper? Is this true, if so may be worth stacking some of them deep in case TSHTF. TP will then be worth its weight in gold.
