Seeing as this looks to be Old Man Logan, if Daken or X23 was only a small kid that far in to the future, it would make it a lot more difficult to integrate them in to the X-Men Universe.

 

It's probably one of the kids in Old man Logan, or something closer to that.

 

We're talking cinematic though and not the comic's. There have been a lot of things adapted, changed and just completely left out of the movies that have originated in the comics.

There's a rumor that Aphra will get her own series, too. That could be total bunk, but it's possible that such a comic, if it does well, would heighten her first appearance.

 

Two days ago Kieron Gillen tweeted a picture of a cosplayer dressed as Aphra with the title "The doctor is in". People are speculating that his yet to be named Star Wars title starting in December will be an Aphra solo series, hence the recent influx of sales of her first app. A solo title in canon could eventually lead to a movie part, not necessarily in Rogue One but a future movie.
