New books for discussion. Some are borderline Copper as well. Each has several
sales to confirm them.

Gen 13 12# - Campbell love book
X-O Manowar 4 - multiple nice sales
Flashpoint 1-5 Set - Worth putting up together
Power Girl 27 - Approaching $100 raw
Rick & Morty 1 1st Print - $200-250 and climbing
Quantum and Woody - Yes I said Quantum and Woody
Web of Spider-man 97 - Unreal

TAH 22 - $40-50 book currently and I think it will settle there till Marvel decides what
they want to do with the book.

Throwback issues? - Teen Titans and Deathstroke the Lazarus Contract. Sales are
over $10 an issue currently. The story is pretty good.

There's a web of Spider-Man 97 cheap on ebay considering the guy has 0 feedback and the comic is in the path of Irma I decided not to chance it.I probably would have gone for it but if the comic was destroyed in the storm if I had bought it I wouldn't have made him refund the money .Better not risk it at all IMHO.

I've been rescuing Web 97's from the dollar bins over the weekend, put aside 1 copy which looks like a 9.8 candidate but wonder how much shelf life this issue has.

Daredevil 227-233, Born Again sets in VF or better are doing well

Nemesis sets and Happy sets, or just the #1's if you find them in the buck bins, grab 'em up

Quantum & Woody 1 has a lot going for it:

• First appearance of two key characters

• 20 years old

• Low print run (less than 14K in sales according to Comichron, split over 2 covers)

• Came out when speculation on Valiant comics was low, so wasn't hoarded like earlier first appearances

• Never really considered valuable, so spent most of the last 20 years in dollar boxes, when not in collections

• Television show coming by the Russo Brothers

There's a 9.6 on eBay now for $200. Seems like a steal, since there is a miniscule number of books on the census in top condition (https://www.cgccomics.com/census/grades_standard.asp?title=Quantum+and+Woody&publisher=Acclaim&issue=1&year=1997&issuedate=6%2F97)

That's pretty much it. It was the laughable Valiant title for years. GOAT was even worse. Now for years the TPBs sold well because they were pretty scarce at least the later ones were.

I happy to see it doing well.

I agree lol it was $1 bin fodder for years.

It's all dollar books until it's made into a movie or tv show

I agree in theory... but Quantum & Woody #1 is a dollar book that's already worthy of being $10 raw.

If it's made into a TV show, then it might be worthy of being $100 raw.  Slabs will follow either the speculation or the disappointment of the TV show happening (or not)... but the #1 and #3 raw books need to be rescued from dollar bins regardless.

Any chance someone can post a cover of the quantum and woody 1 series that's referred to? I'm not familiar with this series and only heard of the newer version. Thanks!

Is anybody reading the new Mister Miracle series? (Tom King & Mitch Gerads, Sheriff of Babylon.) It must be pretty good, copies of #1 are already selling in the $10-$20 range. (Apologies if this was covered earlier.)

Well, historically not valuable. But it's the first appearance of some top tier characters in the Valiant Universe, so one would have expected more to have been slabbed over the last few years. Or even in the last few months since the initial announcement. After that I was selling copies that I described as mid-grade for $20 a pop. I've since submitted 4 copies to go with the one I already had. Usually you see a surge of submissions after an announcement, but in this case the "surge" amounted to less than 10 copies. There just aren't that many out there in top condition.

Yes. I love it.  Sadly, I don't know the potential since its only a limited series....  Man, Tom King's  Vision series was fantastic.
