It was selective books here and there. Now we have people spending COVID cheques on books and it is running up prices on a much broader spectrum of comics. The current “free money” effect will have a limited life span and these books will pull back when that happens.

I have never seen it spelled with one "p".

The way it's spelled on the cover changes the pronunciation to be "kid-nAped".

I agree with this, not only because of the $1200 checks but millions of people are getting unemployment plus the extra $600/week. My son works at the YMCA part time plus he was going to school before this all started. He was only making about $150/week before being furloughed. Now he gets almost $700/week. I think examples like this is a huge part of the current modern spike but that money is going away soon.
