Here in New England, we have none of the above. TBH, I've never heard of 2nd and Charles or BAM but I knew Hastings from some Star Wars 1 variant cover, I think. Otherwise, that is non-existent too. Must be next to the Hardee's or Carl's Jr.

UPDATE: Google claims there actually is one in-state, albeit 50 miles away. There's a good comic store in that area so maybe that will be a place to check out. Do they have comics? Or they used to? I didn't know any book stores had comics anymore...direct editions? or whatever is left of the limited newsstand market (archie's?)?

@PeterPark

Here's a video of a guy going to 2nd and Charles...

There is a fried pie Virgin variant of black number one. Apparently 1 of 50? Either way that is probably the rarest cover by far. A ghost variant.

Yep the Fried Pie virgin variant is limited to 50

The Baltimore Comic-con black cover variant is limited to 99 (numbered)

The New York Comic-con red cover variant is limited to 99 (numbered)

I would get rid of those before the interest dies. It would be a nice payday for you. You would be practically setting the bar for price on the fried pie virgin.

If I had gotten these for speculation, I definitely would.

Only place these are going right now is to get graded.

I hate stuff like that. Why not just advertise it for everyone and shoot yourself in the foot.

Just followed that link and watched the video.  Then I went to another video of his and ended up on another youtuber comic video talking about that guy "Comic Gabroni" having just passed away days/weeks after that video!

I’m 100% biased, but this certainly applies to this group

Invincible books are popping off on eBay once again. October 7th is the NYCC virtual panel re: the Amazon show. Sales will probably heat up again following this assuming there’s footage attached

1-13 are gold in 9.8, and even growing in 9.6

Notable recent EBay sales on CGC books

1- $1,400 9.8

2- $450 (first Eve and Robot) 9.8

5- $775 (tough cover first Allen) 9.8

10- $196 9.8 $170 9.6 (lowest sales of series)

11- $380 9.8 $270 9.6 (plot point/sales)

12- $370 9.8 (plot/sales)

15- $155 9.8 (no real reason, lower sales)

19- $125 9.8 (first battle beast)

51 second print - $160 (cover 1 homage)

75 variant- $300 (cover 1 homage 1:50)

Invincible Returns Darwyn Cooke - $400 (1:50) 9.8

Invincible Returns Sketch Cover- $1,232 9.4 (very very elusive cover - this was my sale)

Even the garbage (don’t @ me) Larry’s variant is selling for $150 plus in 9.8

I just feel bad for anyone buying at those prices.

11 and 12 were my sales I think and both sold in under day or two.
Other then 5 but only by grade 11 and 12 are the only books I still chase.
The others are beyond my budget now for even speculation

I sold the 50 Williams variant on the boards here.

And sold 75 Retailer variant way too early a few months back.

Speculators are combing for them now because of what we knew years ago.
These books are really really hard to find in first 15 issues.

Nice. This has a Preacher vibe to it and we all know how that turned out for the peak buyers.

Could be similar for sure

I’m guessing it will be either TWD or Preacher. Very doubtful to me that there is an in-between

This has a pretty vocal fan base pre-loaded

So did Preacher. Invincible is closer to that IMHO. TWD was a bigger right time at right place play. Look at how fast Outcast fizzled, another Kirkman property. I think this one plays out more like Preacher, sort of in the middle of the other two Kirkman properties.

Invincible has been an expensive series for many many many years... Preacher really only has 2-3 valuable keys issues

This is a super hero book that is really well written. Not some vertigo book that people read and thinks its awesome and super hero readers
just shake their head at. (Sorry Sandman and Preacher fans no offense.)

Comic book readers love this book. If the series is half way decent this book will continue to appreciate. It was doing well even before
the Amazon series announcement.
