When a top comic is put up for auction on Ebay, the final price realized means nothing if the reserve isn't met. The seller might not get the bids...but you can bet he's getting plenty of inquiries if it's a top comic. Messages asking about the reserve, asking for an off-Ebay transaction, offers for trades, etc, etc.
