That #2 is indeed strange looking. Looks like about an eighth of an inch is missing from the botom cover.

 

And, creature 75 is following up his smashing success with trying to foist off a group of 4 FM's including a number 5 that he states would be a NM if not for the 1 and 1/2 inch spine split. (And the bent back corners on both of the left and right lower corners AND the dozen plus deep spine creases). :o:insane:

UNBELIEVABLE! Creature75 just got $865 for FM #13!!! (shrug)

 

The reason #13 went for that high a price is because it was the best issue ever. It says so right on the cover.

It looks like they have all come crawling out of the cracks since the success of Creature75's overgraded FM sales.

 

You got that right. Ebay is where the roaches dwell. Hopefully the buffoons with the ridiculous listings are reading our editorial comments.

Got my copy of #1 back earlier this week -

Nice! I look at your FM #1 and start debating in my mind if it might be a good idea to get some of my key FMs slabbed/graded by CGC. :idea: I understand that if you join CGC you get a coupon for the grading of 4 mags or comics for free. :banana:

 

Then I start to think about the USPS losing or destroying my treasures :o Visions of crazed CGC graders pawing over my precious FMs start going through my mind. :facepalm: Am I crazy :screwy:??? Wait, don't answer that!!! (tsk)

 

If I got four mags graded/slabbed for free, I would probably do my recently purchased super-duper U.S. variant FM #1. Also, my really high grade U.S. variant FM #2, as well as my British ##1 & 2.

 

It would satisfy my curiosity and be a fitting tribute to the FM ##1 & 2 (the only issues to have a foreign variant). (worship)

 

What should I do??? (shrug)

Refresh my memory again with this issue please. Unauthorized edition? Two different versions? Lawsuit from Warren and issues were pulled? (shrug)
