I was bored so I thought I ask the question, including the grade. For me:

TOS #39, 5.0

FF# 4, 6.0

FF# 12, 7.5

Avengers #4, 6.5

SS#4 , 8.0

No super grades to get excited about but I love them just the same.

I consider these as my grails because I love the covers and they're in nice condition:

Very nice, that FF#16 is keeper and is high on my must buy list. 893applaud-thumb.gif We need more people to step up to the plate and show their treasures. popcorn.gif

Detective Comics 40 CGC 5.0 Doesn't have the best eye appeal but I had to have a copy since it's the Joker's 1st cover appearance.

Detective Comics 168 CGC 6.5 Origin of the Joker

Detective Comics 69 CGC 8.5 Nice looking Joker Cover

Batman 222 CGC 9.0 Had to get it for the Beatles take-off cover.

Batman 237 CGC 9.2 Always liked the cover with the Reaper.

I would put up pictures but that would require a lot of work and I'm pretty sure most of them can be found if you click on my website link in my signature and scroll almost all the way to the bottom of the page.

I'm not a DC fan but I'd love to own those low grade Action comics. Very nice. Where do you find stuff like that? thumbsup2.gif

Personally, I own only two of the books that I'd consider grails.

DD #1 CGC VF/NM

House of Secrets 92 VF+ (I'd like to upgrade.)

Other books that would fit the bill that I don't currently own

VF or better FF #1

a complete Detective #27

A true NM DD #7

A NM Green Lantern 76

Showcase #4 in any condition

Showcase #22 in VF or better

Green Lantern #1 VF or better

A NM Galactus Trilogy 48-50

Detective Comics 1 (restored)

Adventure Comics 40

All-American Comics 16 (restored)

Flash Comics 1

Silver Streak 1 (Larson copy)

Still searching for an unrestored Whiz Comics #1...plentiful in restored condition, hard as hell to find unrestored.

The closest thing to a "grail" that I own is a GD Avengers #4 - and believe it or not, I traded copies of wrestling tapes for it.

The question is, what sort of wrestling tapes?
