TORONTO COMICON Presented by Fan Expo Canada™

March 10-11, 2012

Metro Toronto Convention Centre - South Building

Admission: $20 per day, $30 for the weekend.

http://www.comicontoronto.com/

After last year’s 2-day event in April we spent a lot of time talking with fans and exhibitors about the state of the annual spring Toronto ComiCON Fan Appreciation Event and based on those conversations and a schedule adjustment it looks as if we are going bigger and better in 2012! In 2012 the Toronto ComiCon is truly evolving into a mini-Fan Expo as it will encompass comics, sci-fi, horror, anime and gaming.

(Please note that the one day comic show announced for Feb 5th has been taken off the schedule).

* More celebrity guests! Last year we had 3 this year there willl be significantly more.

* More high profile comic pro guests!

* Lots of great programming - Q&As, Workshops, Sketch Duels, and Panels

* Bigger Space! More than double the size of the 2011 event.

* Appearances by Voice Actors for Anime fans.

* Low cost admission! Daily and Weekend Rate.

* Gaming tournaments (Magic: The Gathering and more)

* 10×10 Exhibitor Booths for half the cost of the same at Fan Expo!

* Special exhibitor rates for those who take 4 or more booths!

* FanExpo Canada Premium Pass holders get in free!

* Low cost Artist Alley tables!

* Free admission to all kids 12 and under! It's a March Break weekend.

There’s a HUGE announcement coming next week with the guest list. Tiz has lined up some amazing international comic guests for you.

This event takes the old Toronto ComiCON Fan Appreciation event (usually scheduled in April) and merges it with the successful March Toronto AnimeCON and adds a lot more celebrities to the mix as well as some gaming tournaments. It is a smaller scale Fan Expo experience with reps from the five elements, scifi/horror/comic/anime/gaming.

Nice.

Any chance we can get books signed for Sig Series?

:wishluck:

+1

Mark Bagley is appearing...

:cloud9:

I need his sigs to complete a set on a few books and he does nt do a lot of cons

I now have an SS Amazing Spider-Man #404 by Bagley, but I'd love to get a sketch on the new Scarlet Spider #1 blank of Ben Reilly by him...
