I know if DC follows a strict monthly numbering, then pulls a "Marvel" by lapsing back to the original numbering, they would still have to tinker with the publishing schedule to make this work. I realize it may all be moot for various reasons.

it will still be new numbering but for 1 issue revert back to original to sell comics

Assuming Action comes out 1 per month and at some point reverts

to the old numbering, issue 1000 would be due out about October 1919.

 

So they would have to go weekly or bi-weekly for a while to get a June 2018

(80 years after Action 1) date.
