Now that was freakin' crazy. Cover seems like the typical mislead. Not sure what to feel about Walt because of the carp he's done, but what a sucky way to go, man. The whole baby thing was kind of sick, but seems that Walt really planned ahead. Still no answer to Jo's history. Shart.

 

This woman can really bring hell to someone's life. The Bishop's new body is just freakin' twisted.

issue 5 was killer. didn't answer many questions but brought a lot of things to a close for the time being. good stuff

she seemed alot more vulnerable and less sure of herself in the last issue. Hope they end up showing the greater evil that's out there.

Thought it was the Bishop, but even he had a Master it seems. So her voodoo wears off. Interesting. Or was it just because Walt had magic working against her? It worked for the Bishop and the goons. Is she even human?

Epic read. Classic Brubaker. Nothing good happens without something bad happening. Those last 2 pages? Something funky is coming. There's more to uncover. I'm excited!

I imagine that the heat will begin again with the start of a new story arc. This remains one of my favorite series written and I contnue to hope that Brubaker and Phillips decide to keep doing this series beyond the anticipated end.
