Can't remember where I read it, but recently read Kirkman saying that the show hasn't happened because AMC had too many crime shows when they optioned it. He said it still may happen but it's on the back burner for now. He did say that there are other possibilities besides a TV show. He said there is video game talk. I'm paraphrasing of course since I can't find the article.
