Imaging question

I recently paid for imaging on a submission, and was only provided pictures of the front covers. Did I miss an option in filling out the form? I figure if I'm paying $5 per book I should get front and back scans, or at the very least the option to pay extra for both.

No, the only option for imaging with CGC is for a web-ready scan of the front of the comic.

I recently paid for imaging and I received the book in the mail today. How do I access the image? Do they email it?

The image will be e-mailed to you. (You should check your spam folder in case it was rerouted by your mail program.)

Is CGC imaging in superior in some way to scanning the comic yourself? Is it higher-resolution? Also, does the image fall within CGC's file size standards for posting an image to the registry?

It is the same, but you will receive the image around the time the comic is shipped which can allow you to list it online before receiving the book. It is not high-resolution. The file size may vary, so it may not be the correct size for the registry.
