What book would you choose to take a hit in grade?

10 posts in this topic

If you had only one book to use the digital copy on but all the books were to get graded, AND assuming that the book might take a hit with the grade, which would you pick from this list and why?

Wolverine 310 - reg cover

Wolverine 310 - Sketch cover

Wolverine 310 - 1:50 cover

Wolverine 310 - 1:100 cover

Wolverine 310 - 1:200 cover

No cop out answers like using other means to peeking at the code - the book you choose is the book that the tag will be removed and your reasons why you chose it.

Why not the Sketch cover?

You can always get another copy of the regular cover easier than the variants.

Well played! ^^

Would you think a sketch cover would be viable because in terms of "value" it us predicated on the artwork you get done vs the actual book alone.

I wouldn't think so. Why take a chance a hit on the grade? The value of the sketch cover will likely be more than the regular cover, so, leaving the sticker in place would make more sense. If you do go with the sketch cover and remove the sticker, then try to sell, what looks better on the label to potential buyers? Sticker removed or sticker not removed?
