"No money - no problem" trade thread

16 posts in this topic

Like many fellow collectors, I hit the brick wall called "budget"

and had to stop buying OA.

Still, I still have the OA collecting itch (read: addiction) and wish to

renew my collection.

I know I can might some pieces in order to fuel future purchases,

but my collection is pretty lean, and if I'd sell - it'd be in order to pay bills.

So what one could do ? Trade !

Trading is almost a guiltless practice, and based on my positive past

experience - I'd love to entertain new trade deals.

Please feel free to visit My CAF gallery and through some trading ideas at me:

I hope this would turn out to be as fun as my past trades.

Thanks,

Gal

Trading and flipping is the way to go. It saves money and your marriage; ) I tell you, I wouldn't have half the pieces in my collection had it not been for "the power of inquiring." It never hurts to ask!
My Cho strips and I can vouch for that. (thumbs u

I recently tried to finagle a trade with Mike Burkey and set up this gallery, labeled "trade bait". sean's trade bait He didn't see anything in his wheelhouse, so I bought the damn piece I wanted outright anyway. That guy knows his customers. But the trade gallery remains if anyone wants to check it out. I like Starman, Dr. Strange and Moebius. :jokealert:

This might be a long shot, but I have a few Pia Guerra Y: The Last Man pages that I'd be willing to trade for Gabriel Ba Umbrella Academy pages.

My CAF gallery:

That's pretty specific, but I hope it works out for you... :wishluck:

As for me, no trading deal has been done yet, but I got some nice cash offers,

so maybe some more traditional deals would be the outcome...

(though, still haven't given up on trading)....

I've continued to update my FS/FT folder with a few more piece

(more soon !), by Jackson "Butch" Guice and others (mentioned in earlier posts):

http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryDetail.asp?GCat=5981

Some pieces are soon to be sold (based on offers) or moved back to my collection.

Thanks for those who'd contacted me (and also to those just looking ;) )

While the other Bane piece is 'on hold', I've now added the

my other Bane card art piece to my FS/FT folder;

http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryRoom.asp?GSub=133863

this one is by the late, great Eduardo Barreto

(finisher on the original Vengeance Of Bane book ).

This one depicts the famous moment which was also shown

in TDKR.

More art would be added to the folder as other pieces leave it.

Thanks,

Gal
