You forgot used late 19th century gelato spoons.

And second hand sex toys used by aging porn stars of the '80's.

You must be referring to the Tracilords Effect. As postulated by Einstein as a component of the Unified Field Theory, this falls under the plausible but yet-to-be-proven quantum thermodynamics summation of Top Ten Colelctibles (sic).

And what if I disagree with you? hm

Phish 3.0 is pretty good. There are some that continue to be cynics but some pretty amazing shows have been played. I am pretty sure that every show is available from 2004 to current on livephish. Ask me before you buy it though. I may already have it.

I really liked the 8/17/10 Jones Beach show. Killer Mike's Groove and you even got a Lengthwise -> Maze, a Wilson with a kiddie guitar and they even opened the show with Fluffhead. They NEVER open with Fluffhead.

Setlist: 8/17/10

Set 1: Fluffhead, Kill Devil Falls > Cities, Funky B**** > Wilson[1], Reba[2], Walk Away, Wolfman's Brother > Possum

Set 2: Lengthwise -> Maze, Halley's Comet > Mike's Song > Simple > Backwards Down the Number Line > Prince Caspian[3] > Rock and Roll > Weekapaug Groove, Loving Cup

Encore: Show of Life, Golgi Apparatus

That does sound like a good show. I wouldn't mind a new Phish show... PM Coming...

I believe this is the info Mintcollector was referring to earlier this morning. I hope this helps to somehow resolve the unanswered questions remaining from the "debate" that followed in the other thread. At the end of the day aren't we all here because of the comic books, anyway? :foryou:

I've deleted quite a bit from the original post, but the lists themselves are unedited, and context should not be affected.

Listed below is the first list based on popularity and the amount of collectors in a chosen field.

1.Vintage Jewelry

2.Porcelain & Pottery

3.Glass

4.China & Dinnerware

5.Vintage Clothing

6.Memorabilia

7.Vintage Sewing

8.Autographs

9.Kitchen Collectibles

10.Photographica

11.Clocks & Watches

12. Art

13.Militaria

14.Paper & Ephemera

15.Dolls

16.Figurines

17.Hobbies

18.Toys

19.Lamps & Lighting

20.Advertising

Cookie jars

Royal Bayreuth

Antique furniture

Antique pottery and porcelain

Antique bottles

Royal Doulton

Coca-Cola

Antique glass

Antique jewelry

Here is what gets searched the most on Kovell's. This list is their property and shows what was searched the most by collectors in 2011. Again this list is courtesy of Kovell's.

Note how both lists overlap. This is what collectors (as defined by the truest sense of the word) are most searching for and collecting.

Again, the above info is taken from an older thread and was posted originally by Mintcollector.

Yes, again; why would I lie? I am involved in the industry on all levels. Now if only someone would have actually taken the time to do what you did four to five hours ago; instead of attacking me.

He is welcome to post, he simply hasn't made an appearance

All you have to do is mention something that you enjoy collecting then he will appear to tell you why you shouldn't collect it lol

I edited my original response only to state this: I have never criticized anyone for collecting anything. I have criticized people for buying items and calling them 'investments' (when evidence can be made to the contrary) to make themselves feel better for spending the cash.

If you like something, buy it! Just don't lie to yourself or anyone else about what it is.

I believe you pulled this directly from a post I wrote awhile back, correct? Do you mind crediting me with this? I would appreciate it, as some have debated the fact as to whether or not I posted this before. I thank you!
