You have to wait until it gets to "Shipped/Safe," which usually takes only a couple of days (or less).

For some reason it never occurred to me before, but I wonder why they label the last step "Shipped/Safe" rather than just "Shipped"?  Not as if slabs never arrive damaged, in which case they ended up being "Shipped/Unsafe." :)

Because when they are for pick-up they are put into the safe.

Count your lucky stars that your modern only took one day to hit graded. I spent 10 at SFG. Not sure who I pissed off for that.

The time it takes to go from 'Graded' to 'Shipped/Safe' can take several weeks.

I've had six or seven 20+ book submissions this year and I can't recall any taking more than a couple of days to make it that last step. 

Maybe your books got caught in the Newton Ring slowdown? Or are you forgetting to include a Benjamin or two with your submissions? :baiting:

Hello,

 

First time poster and first time user of CGC/CCS services.  I dropped off at stack of comics to be pressed and graded at Las Vegas comic con on 7/1/18.  I received the confirmation email on 7/11/18 (Modern pressing, modern grading).  They are still in Received status.  I noticed in reading the forums that most people pay for fast track.

My questions are, how do I go about finding the average lead time on non fast tracked orders that were submitted in early July of 2018, and, is this normal for non fast track orders?  (web site for pressing says 62 working days for modern, the tier I payed for.  I am only at 67, but was wondering how much of a back log there might be.)
