Value service with a quick press pre-screen

Dropped off at Awesomecon on 4/26

Received by CGC on 5/16

Moved to "Scheduled for Grading" on 6/27

Moved to "Grading / Quality Control" on 7/22

Moved to Finalized/Images/Shipped on 7/26

So 3 months total (granted I dont have the books in hand yet, but soon) The 15 days from dropoff to reciept was the only part I take issue with... How does that compare to just shipping to Florida? Do I actually save any time in dropping them off at the show?

Seems like, if anything, you lost time. They can sometimes be slow to log in books received at shows, but 15 business days seems way longer than normal.

Oh and here are the results...

16 books. Almost all bought here on the boards. All came back universal, as expected. 

Of the 16 books, 10 came back on grade or within .5 of grade sold as (these were almost all mid-low grade GA books, so grades can swing widely). 

2 books came in 1 full grade higher than expected

2 books came in 1.5 grades higher than expected

2 books came back much higher. One was sold as a 9.0 and it came back as a 9.6, the other came back 3.5 grades higher than anticipated...I want to see that one before I believe it...

I'll say this... jimjum is spot on with his grading. I had multiple books from him bought over the years and everyone was spot on with the grade and the PQ.

that's what I thought.. granted I dropped them off on the first day of the show, and I assumed they wouldn't get processed until they got back to FL, but dang 15 days...

all I can think is the "received" state is a misnomer since I dropped them off at the show 15 days earlier... I almost wonder if it was actually "received" earlier, but the status didnt get updated. But yeah, that's off...

My submission was sent in around the same time, I hope it get graded this week
