Two orders, both received on 10/25. Both slow track modern.

One was one book, signature series. That was finalized and shipped 11/25.
The other was 31 Pre-screen books. 10 days later, that's still "In Process". Ugh.

When does cgc charge you for books you submit to be graded? Right when you place the order, or when they finally complete the grading and ship them back to you?
Thanks

To my knowledge, they won’t charge your card until AFTER your books/order are scanned into their system (once your package has been delivered AND unboxed). This is when it’ll show up on the website as “Received”.

Agreed.  Usually around 2-3 days after the box is received/opened by them.

Unless you do a prescreening and then they will charge your credit card when they know how many passed and how many $5 reject fees they have to impose.

I feel like this is the most stressful step of the whole process :ohnoez:

No movement towards actual grading on my x14 Modern (No Fast Track)

But my second batch of books was entered...

Hoping to get all of these books back before the Comic Swap at Cal-Comic Con in January :wishluck:...

Well thank you for this, it's why I love this thread! 10/28 books shipped to individual dec 2nd, and now you 10/30 books shipped the 5th? 6th? My received Nov 8th books look pretty good on coming back to me before Christmas :takeit:

Do Modern SS submissions have the same advertised turnaround as regular Modern submissions? hm

Yes because the only difference is if you fast track and that's the only possible difference between all moderns whether blue labe or ss, It only matters... fast track yes or no :)

For those keeping track of their submissions and shipping on the Christmas Holiday.... if you chose shipping by UPS Ground back to you:

Well it's "recommended" by December 13th..... by UPS lol for Canada too :)

https://www.ups.com/assets/resources/media/en_US/2019-Holiday-Schedule.pdf

So Hopefully December 13th is full of CGC packages being sent :foryou:
