Received- 3/5/20

it looks like things have hit a screeching halt at CGC

items are received but nothing beyond that. normally it's a day or two before books are verified but nothing

worth mentioning, that my Modern non FT sub received May 13th is still Scheduled for grading....

AND according to this thread other's Modern non FT received May 14th have already been graded and shipped out the cgc door :(

well the TAT says 20 days, I'll give them that first, only been about 15

I did do a lazy email because mine weren't even "SFG" when the received May 14th shipped out from CGC, but after my email, mine are now SFG.......

So idk, I've mentioned it to them and action was taken, they just say it's "still on time with published TAT" so not much I can do yet ......... :eek: eek

From what I understand yes, though it appears I have annoyed the dealer by asking the status so much. He, elitecomics11, told me he would let me know once the grades are available.

 Since I have never had a book graded I don’t know the normal process of anything.

I guess you can determine grading based on the received date +10 business days. At least according to their schedule. It does appear to be moving slower this week than say two weeks ago.

FYI - This is the response I received from CS when I asked why my Modern sub hasn’t gone to SFG yet:

“Thanks for your email.  I don't see any notes referencing any issues with this submission. It's just in our lineup for grading with the modern grading tier. Usually the longest wait is getting into the grading room, once  there the time should speed up when it goes to encapsulation etc.“

My books shipped three/four days after moving to SFG.

While it’s pure speculation I am using 5/18 as an estimate as to when it arrived. That would account for a longer than initially expected shipping out, slow shipping and slow entering into cgc. That would make tomorrow 11 business days.

Wow! 1 business day from received to scheduled for grading for value tier? Did you fast track?
