Wonder if things will bog down a little bit with an encapsulation machine unavailable in Sarasota for a few days because it (and some graders) was sent to Seattle for onsite grading at ECCC?  Not to mention the impact of the extra submissions from ECCC, even with a chunk already having been done onsite.

Nope.  And they just got shipped today.

By my count, that's 8 business days from received to shipped, and if you don't count last Friday because it was the first day of a major con, then it was only 7.  No matter how you look at it, even faster than the stated turnaround for fast track.

There were a few books I had my fingers crossed on, and they all ended up 9.8, but then there were a few others I thought were locks that ended up 9.4 or 9.6.  I'll have to look at them more closely when I get them back.  And I had three 9.8's with grader notes!

I don't have any hard numbers, but from what I've heard CGC submissions are up month over month. The TAT catch-up is due to more graders finishing their training and more encapsulation machines.

Is anyone seeing a slowdown for Reholder submissions? In January, I had a reholder go in and out the door within a week. I currently have one that's been Verified for two weeks now.

CCS has updated its turn times!

Here is where CCS is operating for each tier of service:

 

Quick-Press: 6 weeks (30 Business Days)

Regular Press: 8-9 weeks (40-45 Business Days)

Fast-Track Press: 4-6 weeks (20-30 Business Days)

Standard: 3-4 weeks (15-20 Business Days)

Express: 3 weeks (15 Business Days)

Walk-thru: 2-3 weeks (10-15 Business Days)

Screening: 5-6 weeks (25-30 Business Days)

Yes. In their efforts to speed up the turnaround times they have evidently outsourced the grading of Moderns to whoever grades for MyComicShop.
