As you can see, new member here, I suppose I should have checked this very very long thread before sending off my first two orders to CGC. ;) I have also checked off the pressing option on the comics, except for one, the other six were made in the late eighties with a few wrinkles here and there but man it's getting to 2 month anniversary and they still haven't passed the pressing stage?  I've been looking at youtube videos of comic book fans pressing their own books......the results have been impressive and if they can easily do it maybe I can too.... :)

Hopefully they will get shipped out by Friday.  I do know 12 out of 62 got rejected for being less then 9.6 - more then the last batches but I guess a 80% pass rate is not too bad for copper books.  Now the questions is how many 9.8s and how many 9.6s in the 50 passes.:wishluck:

Please keep us posted on the status of your submission. If your's get shipped tomorrow, then mine will get shipped next week.

Question, turnaround time on reholder

Received book in damaged slab, no damage to shipping box at all so had to leave the shop in this shape which I'm a little frustrated by.  They allowed me to return it due to mechanical error to reholder free of charge.  I was under the impression this would be expedited through the process since it was clearly a problem on their end but doesn't look to be the case.  Book shows received 2/24.  Looking like it's going to be every bit of standard reholder estimated timing and maybe then some.  Anybody had this done lately?  Hoping they wrap it up this week....

I've had a few reholders done because of mechanical error. If they expedited it, it sure wasn't by much.

OH THANK GOD. Have 5 moderns sitting at rcvd 10/31 and CCS billed 2/18. Been getting antsy waiting for the second CGC received notice/bill so I can start a reliable timer for the actual grading. Your time gives me hope I'll see that in next few days.
CCS service is awesome, but turnaround is balls, man. I'm exploring other options now.

About what I expected in a positive way (36 9.8s, 14 9.6s and 12 rejects).  A couple nice books but almost all the home run 9.8 books got 9.6s or rejected.

It's totally your call and it's also a total crapshoot, but something to think about ... I've had a handful of books rejected from a 9.8 prescreen, but after including them in subsequent 9.8 prescreens, they've passed.
