He mentions that he spent thousands upon thousands on comic books when he could have been giving it to the church or providing for his family.

Why would he just not sell them and use the money for his church and family instead of just burning them? Irrational behaviour.

And the woman recording this fiasco at the 3:56 mark shouts "rip it, rip it - yay!" makes me think this man is not just under the influence of religion.

Cool!...sounds like you know the area pretty well.

Yup, sure did - grew up in the area in the 70s and 80s - looked different by then. If that's Jamaica Avenue then that should be the J train that's on the elevated line.  I think it's now the Z and the J that run on that line.

I like seeing pics and videos of comic book collections, especially recently purchased collections.

Here's a good one.  There are some keys, and the video is fun to watch.

First-- I enjoy these things you post.

BUT is there some reason you are re-directing us to the other forum and aren't just posting these here?

Extra steps add up for everyone.

Yes, there are numerous technical reasons, such as the inability of this forum to support large picture formats.  But even if there weren't, I would not be interested in completely recreating every single post I make over here just so someone can avoid a single click.  Sorry.

Yeah, right lol

But I have a question - what does Skybound have to do with comics? Is it a Image studio like Top Cow or Wildstorm?

I'm not entirely sure.  From reading the website, it appears that it's just a marketing company founded by Robert Kirkman which represents other artists and a total of about 30 combined titles.
