The Daily Comic Book Panel Thread

Here's today's second panel.

Identify the issue if you can.

I'll be opening new panels and giving clues if no one gets it.

I have the yogurt production line figured out. :whee:

Capacity is 2 Qts., so I found some easy to use/clean 1 Qt. containers with screw-on lids at Dollar Tree (2 for $1).

I transfer the yogurt to them immediately. That way I don't worry about breaking the glass jar. When I'm down to 1 Qt., I make a new 2 Qt. batch like you see here.

I'm never out of yogurt now.  :)

GERARD JONES Sentenced to 6 Years for Child Pornography

Quote

Writer and historian Gerard Jones has been sentenced to 72 months in federal prison by United States District judge Vince Chhabria on Tuesday. Assistant United States attorney Meredith Osborn prosecuted the case, assisted by Lance Libatique.

Jones, 60, is scheduled to begin serving his sentence on November 30. Following his prison sentence, Jones is set for a supervised release period of five years. The writer has been court-ordered to pay an assessment of $10,200, as well as unspecified restitution to his victims to be determined at an October 4 hearing.

The San Francisco Police Department arrested Jones on December 29, 2017 on reported suspicion of possessing more than 600 child pornography files and uploading such videos to YouTube. Upon searching Jones' home, the SFPD reportedly found "numerous electronic devices containing tens of thousands of images and hundreds of videos of child pornography."

At his January 5 arraignment, Jones pled "not guilty" and a federal grand jury indicted Jones February 7 on distributing child pornography and possession of child pornography. Jones pleaded guilty to both on April 2.

Jones is known for his 1990s run on Green Lantern, which brought Hal Jordan out of retirement, as well as co-creating the UltraVerse character Prime. The California-based writer eventually segued to writing about comics in a series of books, including the 2005 Eisner Award-winning Men of Tomorrow: Geeks, Gangsters, and the Birth of the Comic Book.

well there goes any chance of Prime ever making it to the big screen. is it me or do most people have an extensive porn collection? I mean why do you need that many files etc. How often are you going through them etc.

Sounds like a comic collector.
