I'd say a lot more survived. I alone must have had close to 50 copies of it.

True, probably more like 100,000 copies survived & 1,000 copies were shredded.

I have about 10 copies of this, a friend of mine who sells back issues has about 25. It's not that rare.I found most of mine in $1 bins at shows.

I saw three copies, randomly, just last weekend. Too common to ever see a major premium.

Yeah only rarity I think will be this book is any in CGC Signature series or signed at all. Just state that after what happened last year at HeroesCon when I tried to have my copy signed by the writer. He still to this day hates what happens and only agrees to sign the book if you let him mark out "K*KE" in the book and make a editorial note in the pages of the book.

 

According to him the reason there was such a stink was because someone went to print with copy that came through on the fax without fact checking it and it was printed like that because of a glitch in Marvel's proof reading.

Why would anyone want this book except at the time it was recalled? Unless recalled books are really rare or really interesting, the demand drops off within a few months and never recovers. I would get Wolverine 10 all day before this issue.
