Thanks for the link Rocketeer. That website is so cluttered with info that its impossible to find anything about the convention location... thanks man!

 

As for a dinner, I haven't even firmed up whether I'll be going Sid. And if I can swing it, I will be there...

Yep, I live in the area & work five minutes from the convention center. You'd be able to see the Sears Tower on the horizon if you can get a clear view of all the buildings...
