My grades.... I think I scored minus 20 or something like that...

 

ASM - 7.0

DS -8.0

WF - 7.0

XMEN - 4.0

 

My grades

 

ASM - . 7.0

DOC - 9.2

WF - 7.5

XMEN - 4.5

 

Wow and I thought I was out

 

Less you're messing with me. ...

 

Comicdey's grading matched my guesses except for the WF

 

ASM - 7.0

DS - 9.2

WF - 6.5 (BC moisture stains)

XMEN - 4.5 (moisture stains and piece missing BC)

 

So it looks like you got 0 + 20 + 7 + 7 = 34

Mine was 0 + 20 + 0 +7 = 27

Tsimanga's = 0 + 5 + 2 + 2 = 9?

Playing in the NIT...I beat Oakman on a sidebet 52 - 37... :banana:

 

ASM 106 7.0

DS 2 9.2 bullseye!

WF 8.5 bullseye!

XM 94 4.5

 

Couldn't give the ASM 106 more than an 8.0...then thought there was too much going on with the spine and dropped to 7.5 then 7.0 (I admit the large scans can be just as derailing as helpful...)

 

As for the XM 94...whoa! :o I had it 6.0/5.5 max before the large scan and then dropped it down to 4.5...was worried I didn't hammer it hard enough... (shrug)

Funny story: I was looking through my books for the contest. Found the X-Men #94. Don't know where it came from. I have no recollection of buying it. Or why I would buy it.

I went with the oily look too only because I didn't think anyone would ever submit a non key book with that big a stain on it. Of course if it was specially submitted with a stain just for the contest I would have been *Spooned* big time. lol

 

Why do some books have that added plastic holder and others don't. Was that to stop the problems with the book slipping?

Oh well, farther than I went last year... I feel good about my grades. Just like my swamp thing 1, that asm is one ugly 9.0... Need to sub more books if they're handing out gifts like that
