Collecting in the 60's

Any of you guys collected comics during the Silver Age? I paid cover price for my comics, this is what I did to some of them back then.

There seems to be a bit of rust on that staple. That may hurt when you get it slabbed.

Actually, that's an extra staple! I did all restoration right after I cut out Spider-Man and pasted it to my notebook.

Does that extra staple make it a rare alternate. It's my understanding that most books from this era only had two staples. Anyone?

actually - I'm thinking 9.6 because of that 2 inch crease underneath where the rest of the cover is missing...

2" creases usually cost you 1/5 a grade or so...

nice try supa, i knew it was #27..............#26 is the companion book in the story arc which is why i asked if he was missing a book.
