Love this one. It's been on my radar as well lately. Those deep black inks are sweet.

The main figure's face looks so much like a Jack Davis drawing. I've wondered before if it might be a swipe from an EC splash page. What do you think?

I can see a bit of Jack Davis' style in there but I think this is pure Nostrand. Although I'm no EC expert by a long shot.

Cool. (thumbsu What are some other covers that Nostrand did? I don't know anything about him.

Most of what I know is from his work for Harvey Comics. He did the cover to the classic Witches Tales 25, the severed head bell ringer cover. I found this book searching his name, looks interesting!

The Ghoul looks like a rotted version of the Crypt Keeper to me.

I've always wanted a copy of this book, and when the right copy at the right price comes along...

This Jack Davis precode war cover that is one of the greatest war covers to come out of the precode era. Congrats on getting a must have!

So happy to knock this one off the list after spending most of the year looking for one. :headbang:  An insane cover, love everything about it.

Weird Chills is such a great name for a horror title, but the summer of '54 was not a good time to debut a horror title. Wish it could have started a year earlier... ah well.

Great pickup! Need that one to complete the trio!

Great grab. All 3 are classics!  PCH at it's finest.
