I sold a restored Tales of Suspense #39 not long ago with plans to use the money to replace it with a universal copy. Instead, I saw a Venus #19 for sale and couldn’t resist it. I don’t know if it will turn out to be smart from a financial perspective, but the comic is super rare and I love it. The OCD in me is whispering in my ear to finish the whole set now that I have the hardest ones. I sent in my Venus #1 to CGC last week. They say they are currently in the process of grading it. Pretty incredible considering all the COVID-19 cases in Florida right now. Jayman, Sarg, Point Five and 11 others

Pretty incredible considering all the COVID-19 cases in Florida right now. I’m sure I overpaid (at the time) for my last copy because I thought it looked better than the assigned grade and the book hasn’t moved up as fast as a lot of other PCH books but it’s one of those books I have zero regret owning (ever). It’s a top tier Everett cover on any PCH list... Raze, Jasonmorris1000000, comicnoir and 4 others

My understanding of a transfer stain is that through moisture or humidity, the cover inks of one book transfers onto another when stacked together. So more to the conditions in how the books were stored. Edit to include: Theoretically, if the comics were tied and bundled quickly after originally printed, the inks still being moist could then transfer to the book in front and in back of the stack.
