A great 2 issue run! Chock full of extreme violence, multiple drug stories and mayhem. Everything a little kid could want in the late '40's for his dime! Popular Post Robot Man
When, I think of those, I also think of this cool 3 book run. I never got #2 and unless it just pops up cheap, probably won't as the cover is just to me. These two rock though. I think my spine is a bit better but not as vibrant. The 4.5 Horrific 1 ended at $2800. And the Famous Funnies 214 3.0 ended at $1230. I guess the sale earlier this year was not a fluke. I bought a 3.0 or so from Harley for $300 in March.

As a Pre-Code Horror collector since the late 80's I find these prices hard to believe, $2-300 used to be a big price for most of these books. I've only been collecting GA for a couple/few years and just in that time the price increases have been insane. Unless it's a comic I really want, or is marked much lower than it should be, I am a window-shopper on these guys. Randall Dowling

Yea I just watched a 4.0 on eBay go for over $800. I wasn't expecting anywhere near that for this book.

Popular Post fifties
OK, I know I'm fudging because it ain't precode, but with a Bill Everett end of Earth cover and a story he also illustrated, I'd like to think it qualifies.
