Miscut comic book effect on grading?

What is the policy you gentlemen employ when grading books with obvious miscuts, do you down grade or is this not an issue?

It varies. It will depend on how bad the mis-cut is (does it affect the story/art, does it affect the structural integrity of the book) and what the grade of the book is otherwise. If the book is low grade & the mis-cut is slight; the mis-cut might not come into play. If the book is high grade & the mis-cut is heavy; it will come into play.
