I received two modern books ungraded with the overhang note checked. Does this mean the cover of the book is larger than the encapsulation slab? Thank you.

Overhang: When the cover of a comic book is larger than the interior of the comic book, either in its entirety or just a specific part.

CGC will not encapsulate, at our discretion, comic books we deem to have too much of an overhang.

If a book is not encapsulated due to overhang a credit is issued to the account on file for the grading fee of that book. This credit can be applied to future submissions by referring to the invoice number of the initial submission.
