They are! I'll be getting them graded.

JIM 62 is one of my keeper books; what's your undercopy look like? :baiting:

My other copy is a CGC 7.0 that I bought raw from Rick Starr here on the boards. This copy looks like it may have a chance to get into that zip code of grade. I'm with you though, I love JIM #62 and simply couldn't leave this copy at the shop even though I already have one. One of these copies will eventually be available, I just have to decide which one!

A couple of lower grade Strange Tales I pulled from my raw collection the other day. They are some of the first back issues that I had purchased as a kid... :cloud9:and I read the heck out of them. (thumbsu

They both have some great colors ! You were a much gentler kid than I, almost nothing survived with a cover or without serious modification to the contents

xD Thanks, yeah my father was a collector also, so he tried to teach me to take care of my comics... I did my best, also still have the very first book I purchased off the spinner rack when I was 4 (ASM 129) , that one shows a lot more wear, but still in good shape. I tried lol

Added an upgrade for #3 and added #12 to complete the pre hero part of the run.

Looks like the ship has sailed on that last one #15....

Nice looking copies of both books!

In the same boat as you, ship has sailed on an AF15 unless a lottery win occurs...

They look beautiful, what are the grades? AA/AAF is one of my favorite pre-hero runs, and #3 is one of the toughest to find (in grade or even period).

The #12 is CGC 6.0 Blue

The #3 looks around that range

Agree on #3, been looking for a while for an upgrade, happy to have this one:ohnoez:
